Project Assistance
Strengthening The Goliad Community
The Goliad Economic Development Corporation (GEDC) works to encourage business growth, investment, job creation and other economic development opportunities.
As a Type B Economic Development Corporation, GEDC is governed by the Texas Local Government Code and may use its economic development sales tax funds only for eligible projects and expenditures allowed by law.
GEDC project assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis and is generally provided on a reimbursement basis. Depending on the project, additional approvals and a written Performance Agreement may be required.

Please Don't Spend Money Yet!
Submitting a request or discussing a project with GEDC does not mean funding has been approved. Expenses incurred before all required approvals and agreements are complete may not be eligible for reimbursement.
